This Privacy Policy explains how Voltaix Collective LLC ("Voltaix Collective," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit govoltaix.com, use its forms, book a consultation, refer someone, take part in a promotion, or apply to join our team (together, the "Site").

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Depending on what you do on the Site, this can include your name, email address, phone number, home address, the services you're interested in, your messages to us, appointment details, and information you choose to upload, such as a utility bill. If you take part in a promotion that requires it, we collect proof of eligibility (for example, proof of military, first-responder or healthcare service). If you refer someone, we collect your contact information and the contact information you provide for the person you refer. If you apply to join our team, we collect the information on the application.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, our service providers receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the page that sent you, and any campaign code in the link you used (for example, the QR code you scanned). We use a security check from Cloudflare to block spam on our forms. We do not use advertising cookies or sell advertising on the Site.

2. How we use information

• To respond to you, schedule and hold appointments, and prepare proposals.
• To check eligibility for financing and to work with the installers, lenders and utilities involved in your project.
• To run promotions and referral programs, including verifying eligibility and delivering rewards.
• To contact you by phone, email and, if you agreed, text message.
• To review applications to join our team.
• To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and improve the Site.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services:

• Installation partners who design and install your system or perform other work you ask about.
• Financing partners and lenders, to quote, qualify and fund loans, leases or other financing you ask about.
• Utilities, for interconnection, permission to operate and related approvals.
• Service providers that run the Site and our business tools for us, under obligations to protect it: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), scheduling (Cal.com), customer management (Omnitrak, hosted on Supabase), and email (Google Workspace and Resend).
• Legal reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

4. Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we use your number to text you about your inquiry, appointments, services, referrals and rewards. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Do Not Track and tracking by others

We do not track you across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through our Site, other than the service providers listed above acting on our behalf. Because we don't do cross-site tracking, the Site does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

6. Your choices

• See, correct or delete your information: email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information we're required to keep by law or for an active project or contract.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP.
• California residents: under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any project, contract, warranty or reward, and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant, we'll make it prominent on the Site.
